Thomas lent me the DVD some times ago, so I just have to watch it asap to return it to him.
Typical art-house movie. The taxi driver is the only interesting character.
Rachel Maryam shares a great resemblance with my friend, Manda. Not only the face, but the way they talk and argue. Her acting in this movie is a bit annoying though.
In the DVD box, it was written,”… the same piquant energy as Wong Kar Wai’s Fallen Angels” - Scott Foundas, VARIETY.
Well, I haven’t got the chance to watch Fallen Angels, but I am always a fan of Wong Kar Wai. So if you ask me what do I think of the comparison, my answer is: not even close!!
